Great discounts available! Stock up for your trip to Singapore.

Today is all about Singapore; I sincerely apologize for keeping everyone waiting.

image2.png

Finding quality products in Singapore is not easy. Since last year, the travel prices in Singapore have been continually rising. The main reason is the visa exemption and the fact that Singapore is the safest travel destination in Southeast Asia (and there’s no close second).

Thus, if you want a good deal on hotel packages in Singapore, you can only rely on platforms and hotel group subsidies. This week, the Singapore Tourism Board and Fliggy are jointly launching the Super VIP Singapore promotion with substantial discounts.

image3.png

Let me list some of these subsidies:
Taobao’s Digital Life has provided a coupon of 1599-80, which will be displayed on the product detail page. The products available today can all use this coupon. Each account can only claim this coupon once. If you want to claim more, you can call your friends to buy together. However, this coupon is shared with last week’s Jeju coupon, meaning if you’ve already grabbed the Jeju coupon, you cannot claim the Singapore one.

Additionally, there’s a limited offer of 1000 Super VIP Singapore flight and hotel packages available for 9.9 yuan, which contains a coupon bundle. Inside, there’s a 101 yuan off a calendar flight ticket coupon (destination Singapore) and a 50 yuan off 51 yuan hotel coupon (only valid for Singapore hotels).
Purchase Taobao command: 59¥ CZ0012 t4s4WJDk4Jb¥ [https://m.tb.cn/h.gZvI7zr/](https://m.tb.cn/h.gZvI7zr/)

image4.png

The coupon bundle is non-refundable, so feel free to stock up.

Next, let’s focus on the products.
Apart from the free flight flash sale package (Conrad) that goes on sale tonight at 20:00, the others will be available starting at 9:00 in the morning.
The following four products are the highlights of this promotion; except for the first Conrad flash sale flight package, Fliggy is offering a 200 yuan discount on other Singapore flight tickets.

image5.png

After verifying the package (no need to travel), you’ll receive a 200 yuan flight discount coupon (only valid for one-way or round-trip flights from mainland China to Singapore).
Use it when booking calendar flight tickets, which effectively gives you a discount of 200 yuan.

For the three Hilton hotels in Singapore (Conrad Singapore, Orchard Road Conrad, and Orchard Hilton), if you’re a Taobao 88VIP member or Fliggy’s F3 or F4 members, you can buy a 95% discount coupon for just 0.01 yuan, which brings down the price significantly.

image6.png

Purchase Taobao command: 78¥ HU9046 m9KkWJClort¥ [https://m.tb.cn/h.gZwtWyD/](https://m.tb.cn/h.gZwtWyD/)
This coupon must be bought immediately as the quantity is limited. Opens at 9 o’clock.
However, the count of this 95% discount coupon is very limited; only one can be purchased per person, so please buy according to your actual needs. It’s only valid for the three Hilton hotels mentioned.

image7.png

1) Conrad Singapore / Orchard Road Conrad offers:
Deluxe room for one night including breakfast costs 1888 yuan (1794 yuan after 88VIP discount);

image8.png

Deluxe room for one night including breakfast + executive treatment costs 2024 yuan (1923 yuan after discounts);
Deluxe room for two nights including breakfast + executive treatment costs 3999 yuan (3799.05 yuan after discounts, highly recommended).

image9.png

Further, by utilizing the Taobao Digital Life subsidy, you can save an additional 80 yuan.

image10.png

Validity until August 31, 2024. For the May holidays (5.1-6), and 6.3-9, an additional 300 yuan per night is required; other dates do not have price increases, but the Conrad on Orchard Road is unavailable from 8.26-31.

Interestingly, we recently stayed at both Conrad hotels within the last month.

image11.png

Post-pandemic, the Xu You team has consistently traveled to Singapore for data collection, at least over 10 visits. While great products are still elusive, we have created numerous guides. After reading today’s product details, please scroll down to the related reading section to see how hard we’ve worked in Singapore.

image12.png

image13.png

Conrad Singapore is located in the Marina Bay area, surrounded by landmarks like the Merlion, Singapore Flyer, the Helix Bridge, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and the giant durian building, making it incredibly convenient to stay here.

image14.png

image15.png

Here’s a view from one of the higher floors of the hotel, showing the Ritz-Carlton, Pan Pacific, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, and Gardens by the Bay—all nearby!

image16.png

Typically, Conrad Singapore doesn’t come cheap, with calendar rates starting over 2500 yuan for a room without breakfast.

image17.png

image18.png

This current package includes breakfast and executive treatment, which features: double breakfast, afternoon tea (14:30-16:30), Cocktail Hour with cocktails, soft drinks, sparkling wine, and snacks (18:00-20:00), as well as coffee and tea throughout the day.
So, this package effectively provides accommodation, plus two meals a day and afternoon tea for only 3999 yuan. It’s significantly cheaper than the usual calendar rate.

image19.png

image20.png

Conrad Singapore is filled with artistic ambiance, housing over 3400 artworks scattered in public areas and rooms.

image21.png

image22.png
Here are a few recent snapshots.

image23.png

image24.png

Conrad Singapore opened in 1996. However, most rooms (511 out of 512) were renovated in 2018.
This time, take a look at the room; it’s relatively decent, right? The base room size ranges from 40-43 m².

There’s a little rubber duck in the bathroom that you can take home. I’m not sure if they still provide a bear, as the last time one of the Xu You photographers stayed, there were no Conrad bears available.

image25.png

image26.png

image27.png

image28.png

image29.png

The hotel’s executive lounge has also been renovated post-2018.
However, some common areas were last redone in 2008, which makes them appear slightly dated.

image30.png

image31.png

image32.png

I recommend getting the 3999 two-night package (3799.05 yuan after discount), as it includes executive benefits like breakfast, afternoon tea, and Happy Hour in the evenings. I’ve tried the Happy Hour, and the offerings were quite good.

image33.png

image34.png

For breakfast, you can enjoy it in the executive lounge or the all-day dining restaurant. The breakfast at Conrad Singapore is diverse and very friendly towards Chinese guests, evident with food labeled in Chinese.
Hilton hotels, once you reach the Conrad brand, generally assure a controllable quality standard.

If you’re interested in Chinese cuisine, I recommend the Golden Peony restaurant, which previously held a Michelin star. I’m not sure why it lost that status, but I still find that the flavors at Golden Peony are commendable.

image35.png

image36.png

image37.png

Now let’s discuss the Orchard Road Conrad.

image38.png

It opened on January 18, 2024, and was previously an IHG Regent hotel, fully remodeled into a Conrad.
The transition from Regent to Conrad means a solid foundation remains.

image39.png

image40.png

Orchard Road Conrad is designed by the renowned Potter & Associates, and the hotel’s atrium is a signature centerpiece extending through many floors, which is incredibly distinctive—similar to Singapore’s MO and Pan Pacific, as they are all designed by Potter.

image41.png

image42.png

image43.png

I particularly like the design of the spiral staircase and the atrium elevators; these scenic observation elevators offer you a panoramic view of the entire atrium.

image44.png

The dining options at Orchard Road Conrad are noteworthy as well. This hotel was known for its cuisine when it was still the Regent. There are ten restaurants and bars, with two standout recommendations. The one-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant Summer Palace has some dining spots that extend into the atrium.

image45.png

When we last dined there, we ordered a Michelin recommended set; it was delicious. This set is a real blessing for indecisive diners.

image46.png

Manhattan Bar is a perennial presence in the Asia Top 50 bars list and has earned accolades as Singapore’s best bar. It’s an American-style bar that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped directly into Manhattan. I don’t drink, but friends suggest ordering a Manhattan cocktail, giving you a unique experience.

image47.png

Returning to the packages.
I personally recommend the deluxe room for two nights, including breakfast + executive treatment, available for 3999 yuan. After the 95% discount, it comes to 3799.05 yuan, and using the Taobao Digital Life red envelope provides an additional 80 yuan off.
The deluxe room is the base room, measuring 35 m², available with king or twin beds. Here’s a picture of the room, cleverly utilizing a mirror to create a sense of added space.

image48.png

While 35 m² may not seem large in a country where space is at a premium, it’s still a decent size.

image49.png

The twin room looks like this; each room features floor-to-ceiling windows with a good view.

image50.png

Here’s a look at some of the hardware and software amenities in the room.

image51.png

image52.png

image53.png

image54.png

image55.png

For the 3999 two-night package, it includes executive treatment. The executive lounge at Orchard Road Conrad is located on the 11th floor, and its aesthetics post-renovation are quite pleasing.

image56.png

image57.png

Last time I visited, I didn’t photograph the Happy Hour (due to the absence of lounge privileges). But rest assured, being a Conrad, the executive lounge offerings are always reliable.

image58.png

image59.png

image60.png

Breakfast can be enjoyed in the executive lounge or the main dining room, Basilico. The lounge is quieter, while Basilico offers a wider variety of selections.

image61.png

I recommend Basilico for its rich selection compared to the lounge.

image62.png

image63.png

Lastly, regarding the location, Orchard Road Conrad is indeed nestled along Orchard Road—which is famous for shopping and leisure. It’s convenient to walk to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Singapore and the world’s third tropical garden to receive this honor, making it a worthwhile visit.

image64.png

image65.png

image66.png

image67.png

Although this hotel seems reasonably priced at over 1600 yuan a night, it doesn’t include breakfast. Including breakfast typically means much higher than 1900 yuan. Based on our experience, the calendar price appears somewhat undervalued when compared to similar hotels in Singapore, thus likely to increase in the future.

image68.png

The promotion provided by Fliggy essentially adds executive treatment to the previously inclusive breakfast packages, covering afternoon tea and Happy Hour.
Furthermore, stacking it with Hilton’s 95% discount combined with Taobao Digital Life subsidies and the post-usage 200 yuan flight coupon results in substantial savings—it’s definitely worth it!

image69.png

Purchase Taobao command: 98¥ CZ0001 8yerWJHmGbm¥ [https://m.tb.cn/h.gaYXe99/](https://m.tb.cn/h.gaYXe99/)
Please note that 88VIP or F3, F4 members can receive the 95% discount coupon only once each day, and there’s a limited quantity available.

image70.png

I suggest merging your orders, so when buying two to three packages together, it will still be at the 95% discount level (maximum deduction not exceeding 500 yuan).

Additionally, there are 300 limited flash sale packages available. The original package rate and content remain unchanged but will include additional round-trip flights from Hong Kong to Singapore (excluding tax and fuel surcharges). The free flights are sponsored by the Hong Kong Airport Authority.

image71.png

This is quite a good deal; securing it means you’ve saved well, as it goes on sale tonight at 20:00.

image72.png

2) Orchard Hilton’s Executive Room for two nights, including breakfast + dual executive privileges, costs 4699 yuan (or 4464.05 yuan for Taobao 88VIP members).

image73.png

Valid until October 31, 2024; additional charges apply during periods 5.24-6.2, 7.8-9.12 at 430 yuan per night, and 9.19-22 at 2040 yuan per night.

image74.png

image75.png

This is the largest Hilton in the Asia-Pacific region, boasting 1080 rooms. Located in the heart of Orchard Road, it offers direct access to the high-end shopping complex, Mandarin Gallery.

image76.png

The hotel is also a short walk from the subway station, making shopping convenient and outings enjoyable.

Orchard Hilton was newly launched in 2022 but previously operated as the Mandarin Orchard, completely revamped for its rebranding as Conrad.

image77.png

The rooms at Orchard Hilton are very minimalist, with large floor-to-ceiling windows providing great views. Personally, I adore the bathroom’s black and green design.

image78.png

This package includes executive privileges. The Orchard Hilton lounge is quite spacious, and the offerings during Happy Hour are decent.

image79.png

I’m including an image of the lounge’s offerings; it surely fills you up. However, compared to Conrad’s executive offerings, there’s a slight difference in quality regarding the food.

image80.png

image81.png

The all-day dining restaurant, Estate, boasts a high aesthetic appeal and is photogenic from any angle.

image82.png

image83.png

In a hotel with over 1000 rooms, the breakfast selection must be extensive.

image84.png

image85.png

image86.png

image87.png

image88.png

image89.png

Orchard Hilton also boasts two Michelin dining establishments.

image90.png

One star Michelin restaurant Shisen Hanten specializes in Sichuan cuisine. You should try Singapore’s Michelin-starred Sichuan dishes!

image91.png

The other one-star restaurant is Osteria Mozza, from the famed Los Angeles chef Nancy Silverton, the only restaurant in Asia. Their distinctive Californian-Italian dishes highlight both classic recipes and Singaporean flavors.
I haven’t dined there myself but have seen photos. If you get the chance, please eat there on my behalf!

image92.png

Orchard Hilton also has a restaurant dedicated to Hainanese chicken rice, Chatterbox, which is highly recommended for its cost-effectiveness.

If your main purpose for visiting Singapore is shopping, this hotel is a great choice.

image94.png

3) Singapore Ascott Properties with a stay price starting from 788 yuan (738 yuan after discounts).
Valid until May 31, 2024; the Singapore lyf Funan shared apartment is unavailable from 4.19-21 and 5.24-29.

image95.png

This package includes two coupons.

image96.png

A no-threshold 30 yuan coupon available in unlimited quantity for Ascott members.
A limited no-threshold 50 yuan coupon with just 200 units available, requiring swift action for Ascott members.

Here are the specific options:

image97.png

788 yuan for a night without breakfast at Singapore’s lyf Park Avenue shared apartment;
888 yuan for a night without breakfast at Singapore’s lyf Funan shared apartment, Singapore Tech City’s Citadines, or Traveler’s Hotel – Oakwood Series;
1388 yuan for a night including breakfast at the luxurious Robertson Quay Crest Collection Hotel.

image98.png

I highly recommend Singapore’s lyf Funan shared apartment (858 yuan after discounts but without breakfast). This location is near Clarke Quay, within walking distance to Marina Bay, offering the best position among this selection of Acott properties.

image99.png

image100.png

Usually, this hotel goes for over 1300 yuan a night.

image101.png

image102.png

image103.png

Next, I recommend the Traveler’s Hotel – Oakwood Series (858 yuan after discounts but without breakfast). This hotel, situated near Little India, has only 29 rooms within a building reflecting old-world charm. Staying in such a hotel in Singapore is truly an experience.

image104.png

image105.png

The calendar rates for this hotel aren’t low either.

image106.png

The following two properties also present excellent value.
Singapore’s lyf Tech City (758 yuan after discounts but without breakfast) has a reasonable location, directly next to Tech City subway station, providing direct access to Sentosa and Marina Bay.

image107.png

It’s also relatively new, opened in 2021.

Singapore’s lyf Park Avenue shared apartment (758 yuan after discounts but without breakfast) lies near the Park Avenue subway station, also offering convenient transport.

image108.png

image109.png

This property is even closer to Marina Bay.

image110.png

Purchase Taobao command: 38¥ HU9046 RUfmWJHOgOD¥ [https://m.tb.cn/h.gZrnj8K/](https://m.tb.cn/h.gZrnj8K/)
If you’re looking for value during your Singapore trip, these Ascott properties would be quite suitable.

image111.png

4) Pan Pacific’s Singapore Marina Bay Hotel Urban Luxury Room for two nights, including breakfast, priced at 4000 yuan; for two nights in a Premier room with breakfast + VIP lounge access, priced at 5888 yuan.
Valid until September 30, 2024; additional pricing details can be found on the page. No extra charges for May Day and Dragon Boat Festivals!

I am currently residing in this hotel, so the photos are quite fresh. The above image was taken at Conrad Singapore, while Pan Pacific Hotel is even closer to Marina Bay.

I had previously stayed here a long time ago, but since its renovation in 2021, it has dramatically changed.
The hotel pool is beautiful, especially at night under lights, appearing dotted with stars (it rained yesterday, so I didn’t capture the night pool scene—it’s an official website photo instead).

This hotel was also designed by Potter & Associates, offering a distinguishable atrium with abundant greenery.

The urban luxury room measures 31-33 m², with options for double beds. Most of these room types feature balconies, which is quite rare in the Singapore city center and specifically in the Marina Bay area.

The package includes breakfast, which is necessary as the hotel’s breakfast is quite abundant.

image112.png
Compared to calendar rates, this package holds significant advantages. Calendar rates for rooms without breakfast can exceed 2400 yuan.
