Finding quality products in Singapore is not easy. Since last year, the travel prices in Singapore have been continually rising. The main reason is the visa exemption and the fact that Singapore is the safest travel destination in Southeast Asia (and there’s no close second).
Thus, if you want a good deal on hotel packages in Singapore, you can only rely on platforms and hotel group subsidies. This week, the Singapore Tourism Board and Fliggy are jointly launching the Super VIP Singapore promotion with substantial discounts.
Let me list some of these subsidies:

Next, let’s focus on the products.
Apart from the free flight flash sale package (Conrad) that goes on sale tonight at 20:00, the others will be available starting at 9:00 in the morning.

Conrad Singapore is located in the Marina Bay area, surrounded by landmarks like the Merlion, Singapore Flyer, the Helix Bridge, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and the giant durian building, making it incredibly convenient to stay here.

Typically, Conrad Singapore doesn’t come cheap, with calendar rates starting over 2500 yuan for a room without breakfast.
This current package includes breakfast and executive treatment, which features: double breakfast, afternoon tea (14:30-16:30), Cocktail Hour with cocktails, soft drinks, sparkling wine, and snacks (18:00-20:00), as well as coffee and tea throughout the day.
So, this package effectively provides accommodation, plus two meals a day and afternoon tea for only 3999 yuan. It’s significantly cheaper than the usual calendar rate.
Conrad Singapore is filled with artistic ambiance, housing over 3400 artworks scattered in public areas and rooms.
Here are a few recent snapshots.
Conrad Singapore opened in 1996. However, most rooms (511 out of 512) were renovated in 2018.
This time, take a look at the room; it’s relatively decent, right? The base room size ranges from 40-43 m².
There’s a little rubber duck in the bathroom that you can take home. I’m not sure if they still provide a bear, as the last time one of the Xu You photographers stayed, there were no Conrad bears available.
The hotel’s executive lounge has also been renovated post-2018.
However, some common areas were last redone in 2008, which makes them appear slightly dated.
I recommend getting the 3999 two-night package (3799.05 yuan after discount), as it includes executive benefits like breakfast, afternoon tea, and Happy Hour in the evenings. I’ve tried the Happy Hour, and the offerings were quite good.
For breakfast, you can enjoy it in the executive lounge or the all-day dining restaurant. The breakfast at Conrad Singapore is diverse and very friendly towards Chinese guests, evident with food labeled in Chinese.
Hilton hotels, once you reach the Conrad brand, generally assure a controllable quality standard.
If you’re interested in Chinese cuisine, I recommend the Golden Peony restaurant, which previously held a Michelin star. I’m not sure why it lost that status, but I still find that the flavors at Golden Peony are commendable.
Now let’s discuss the Orchard Road Conrad.
It opened on January 18, 2024, and was previously an IHG Regent hotel, fully remodeled into a Conrad.
The transition from Regent to Conrad means a solid foundation remains.
Orchard Road Conrad is designed by the renowned Potter & Associates, and the hotel’s atrium is a signature centerpiece extending through many floors, which is incredibly distinctive—similar to Singapore’s MO and Pan Pacific, as they are all designed by Potter.
I particularly like the design of the spiral staircase and the atrium elevators; these scenic observation elevators offer you a panoramic view of the entire atrium.
The dining options at Orchard Road Conrad are noteworthy as well. This hotel was known for its cuisine when it was still the Regent. There are ten restaurants and bars, with two standout recommendations. The one-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant Summer Palace has some dining spots that extend into the atrium.
When we last dined there, we ordered a Michelin recommended set; it was delicious. This set is a real blessing for indecisive diners.
Manhattan Bar is a perennial presence in the Asia Top 50 bars list and has earned accolades as Singapore’s best bar. It’s an American-style bar that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped directly into Manhattan. I don’t drink, but friends suggest ordering a Manhattan cocktail, giving you a unique experience.
Returning to the packages.
I personally recommend the deluxe room for two nights, including breakfast + executive treatment, available for 3999 yuan. After the 95% discount, it comes to 3799.05 yuan, and using the Taobao Digital Life red envelope provides an additional 80 yuan off.
The deluxe room is the base room, measuring 35 m², available with king or twin beds. Here’s a picture of the room, cleverly utilizing a mirror to create a sense of added space.
While 35 m² may not seem large in a country where space is at a premium, it’s still a decent size.
The twin room looks like this; each room features floor-to-ceiling windows with a good view.
Here’s a look at some of the hardware and software amenities in the room.
For the 3999 two-night package, it includes executive treatment. The executive lounge at Orchard Road Conrad is located on the 11th floor, and its aesthetics post-renovation are quite pleasing.
Last time I visited, I didn’t photograph the Happy Hour (due to the absence of lounge privileges). But rest assured, being a Conrad, the executive lounge offerings are always reliable.
Breakfast can be enjoyed in the executive lounge or the main dining room, Basilico. The lounge is quieter, while Basilico offers a wider variety of selections.
I recommend Basilico for its rich selection compared to the lounge.
Lastly, regarding the location, Orchard Road Conrad is indeed nestled along Orchard Road—which is famous for shopping and leisure. It’s convenient to walk to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Singapore and the world’s third tropical garden to receive this honor, making it a worthwhile visit.
Although this hotel seems reasonably priced at over 1600 yuan a night, it doesn’t include breakfast. Including breakfast typically means much higher than 1900 yuan. Based on our experience, the calendar price appears somewhat undervalued when compared to similar hotels in Singapore, thus likely to increase in the future.
The promotion provided by Fliggy essentially adds executive treatment to the previously inclusive breakfast packages, covering afternoon tea and Happy Hour.
Furthermore, stacking it with Hilton’s 95% discount combined with Taobao Digital Life subsidies and the post-usage 200 yuan flight coupon results in substantial savings—it’s definitely worth it!

2) Orchard Hilton’s Executive Room for two nights, including breakfast + dual executive privileges, costs 4699 yuan (or 4464.05 yuan for Taobao 88VIP members).

This is the largest Hilton in the Asia-Pacific region, boasting 1080 rooms. Located in the heart of Orchard Road, it offers direct access to the high-end shopping complex, Mandarin Gallery.
The hotel is also a short walk from the subway station, making shopping convenient and outings enjoyable.
Orchard Hilton was newly launched in 2022 but previously operated as the Mandarin Orchard, completely revamped for its rebranding as Conrad.
The rooms at Orchard Hilton are very minimalist, with large floor-to-ceiling windows providing great views. Personally, I adore the bathroom’s black and green design.
This package includes executive privileges. The Orchard Hilton lounge is quite spacious, and the offerings during Happy Hour are decent.
I’m including an image of the lounge’s offerings; it surely fills you up. However, compared to Conrad’s executive offerings, there’s a slight difference in quality regarding the food.
The all-day dining restaurant, Estate, boasts a high aesthetic appeal and is photogenic from any angle.
In a hotel with over 1000 rooms, the breakfast selection must be extensive.
Orchard Hilton also boasts two Michelin dining establishments.
One star Michelin restaurant Shisen Hanten specializes in Sichuan cuisine. You should try Singapore’s Michelin-starred Sichuan dishes!
The other one-star restaurant is Osteria Mozza, from the famed Los Angeles chef Nancy Silverton, the only restaurant in Asia. Their distinctive Californian-Italian dishes highlight both classic recipes and Singaporean flavors.
I haven’t dined there myself but have seen photos. If you get the chance, please eat there on my behalf!
Orchard Hilton also has a restaurant dedicated to Hainanese chicken rice, Chatterbox, which is highly recommended for its cost-effectiveness.

If your main purpose for visiting Singapore is shopping, this hotel is a great choice.
3) Singapore Ascott Properties with a stay price starting from 788 yuan (738 yuan after discounts).

Next, I recommend the Traveler’s Hotel – Oakwood Series (858 yuan after discounts but without breakfast). This hotel, situated near Little India, has only 29 rooms within a building reflecting old-world charm. Staying in such a hotel in Singapore is truly an experience.
The calendar rates for this hotel aren’t low either.
The following two properties also present excellent value.
Singapore’s lyf Tech City (758 yuan after discounts but without breakfast) has a reasonable location, directly next to Tech City subway station, providing direct access to Sentosa and Marina Bay.
It’s also relatively new, opened in 2021.
Singapore’s lyf Park Avenue shared apartment (758 yuan after discounts but without breakfast) lies near the Park Avenue subway station, also offering convenient transport.
This property is even closer to Marina Bay.

I am currently residing in this hotel, so the photos are quite fresh. The above image was taken at Conrad Singapore, while Pan Pacific Hotel is even closer to Marina Bay.
I had previously stayed here a long time ago, but since its renovation in 2021, it has dramatically changed.
The hotel pool is beautiful, especially at night under lights, appearing dotted with stars (it rained yesterday, so I didn’t capture the night pool scene—it’s an official website photo instead).
This hotel was also designed by Potter & Associates, offering a distinguishable atrium with abundant greenery.
The urban luxury room measures 31-33 m², with options for double beds. Most of these room types feature balconies, which is quite rare in the Singapore city center and specifically in the Marina Bay area.
The package includes breakfast, which is necessary as the hotel’s breakfast is quite abundant.
Compared to calendar rates, this package holds significant advantages. Calendar rates for rooms without breakfast can exceed 2400 yuan.
