A Small Town to Visit in Spring: The Prices are Really Good

Who understands it? As soon as spring arrives, I can’t wait to go to Wuyuan!

image1.png

image2.png

It is known as the most beautiful countryside in China, with golden fields of rapeseed flowers layered one on top of another, blending with white walls and dark tiles, the sound of flowing water, and sitting on a bamboo raft chatting while enjoying the scenery—this is just the dreamlike image of Jiangnan.

image3.png

image5.png

image6.png

Wuyuan also offers a night tour experience that rivals that of Xi’an.

image7.png

Located just a 10-minute drive from the high-speed train station, Wunuzhou can be called a real-life version of “Heavenly Palace.” Not only are the Hui-style buildings breathtaking, but there is also an uninterrupted show and night tour experience throughout the day, featuring performances like Nuo dance, fire breathing, iron flower display, fireworks, and light shows… everything you need is covered.

image8.png

As Wuyuan enters its most beautiful season, we have arranged a great package and included some travel tips for everyone.

image9.png

image10.png

First, let’s talk about the accommodation, which everyone is most concerned about. The hotels included in this package are all in Wunuzhou. For traveling to Wuyuan, we always recommend staying here.

image11.png

Firstly, Wunuzhou is close to the high-speed train station; after getting off the train, you can easily drop your luggage, take a good rest, and then head out light to enjoy flower viewing with much less effort.

We don’t recommend staying in the villages because many of Wuyuan’s villages have stone-paved roads, and dragging luggage up and down can be very tiring, plus it’s inconvenient for dining out in the county.

image12.png

Secondly, if you stay in Wunuzhou, you can enter the area infinitely, enjoying flower viewing during the day and the night tour in the evening, making for a well-planned day.

image13.png

For friends traveling with kids, staying here is even more suitable. Wunuzhou features a 22,000-square-meter children’s amusement park and a 24,000-square-meter water world.
On the first day, you can enjoy the flowers, and on the second day, take your kids out — meeting the needs of both adults and children.

image14.png

Now that we are on this topic, we must have great packages.
Today’s packages are plentiful, ranging from budget to high-end, valid from now until the end of June!

image15.png
During the rapeseed flower season and on weekends and holidays, rates will increase, and specific increase details can be found on the page.

Weekday and weekend rates are more appealing; luckily, Wuyuan isn’t far away, making it feasible to visit over a weekend.

image16.png

Currently, it is the flower viewing season, so those wanting to see the flowers should make an appointment soon because the flowers do not wait for anyone.

Here’s a peek at the offerings:

image17.png

I’ve stayed at No Dream, and the quality is top-notch. The rooms feature a typical Chinese design, giving off a very comfortable vibe.

image18.png

The observation deck at No Dream is also a fantastic spot for viewing fireworks and the iron flower display; friends staying here can come early to secure a good spot.

image19.png

This is the “Night Tour Viewing Platform” shown in the picture above.

The package includes the third-tier room type, which is currently being sold for over ¥1,000 during peak season on OTA platforms; this price is already quite low and very cost-effective.

Next, let’s discuss how to enjoy Wuyuan.
First, let’s talk about the activities in Wunuzhou.

image44.png

During the daytime, you can check out the scenic area’s architecture, including Wenchang Pavilion, Jin Yong Museum, Lianli Hall, and the Ancient Opera Stage. These are also places to explore; for example, the Jin Yong Museum contains elements related to Jin Yong’s martial arts world, which is very interesting.

A boat ride is a must-do experience; how can one visit Jiangnan without taking a boat?
I recommend taking the boat in the evening, as the scenery begins to transform during the twilight hour, and the lights of the scenic area start to illuminate. This is the most beautiful moment of the day and offers a fantastic visual experience from the boat.

image45.png

Wunuzhou has many activities, and here’s the latest performance schedule. The shows in the evening are rich and varied, allowing visitors to enjoy flower viewing during the day and chase performances at night.

image46.png

Shows worth watching include “Grand Bonfire Festival,” “Nuo Dance,” and others.

image47.png

The main events feature “Meet Wuyuan,” “Iron Flower,” and the “Heavenly Craftsmanship” light and fireworks shows.

image48.png

“Meet Wuyuan” is a classic IP of Wunuzhou, crafted with an investment of 200 million, with high-energy performances culminating in a fireworks display.

image49.png

“Iron Flower” is a cultural heritage performance, occurring twice a day in the evening at the Baoyu Pagoda, where iron flowers burst forth like shooting stars, creating a dreamlike scene.

image50.png
“Heavenly Craftsmanship” is a light show with ever-changing lights on the Baoyu Pagoda, along with vivid dragons, which is a must-see. The beautiful night ends with a dazzling fireworks show, a sight rarely seen in the city (fireworks are shown only on Fridays and Saturdays).

This year has also introduced a Hairpin Flower Festival.
Quanzhou ignited interest in the hairpin flower, but it is not just Quanzhou that enjoys this tradition; places have practiced “hairpin flower” customs since the Tang and Song dynasties.
