Today is a detailed discussion on the Hyatt Hotels Group during the Feizhu 618 promotion. Hyatt is my favorite hotel group. Although it has significantly fewer hotels in China compared to IHG, Marriott, Hilton, and Accor… Hyatt does not open stores blindly; it focuses more on reputation. The hotels under its brand offer great hardware and quality soft services. The dining experience is especially outstanding.

Hyatt’s focus during this 618 promotion is on two main points. The first is a value coupon of 200 off for every purchase over 3999, which is equivalent to a 5% discount. The second point is that the Hyatt flagship store provides store points; even the most basic flagship store members can reclaim 5% points with good usage. For advanced members, the point reclaim can be as high as 12%. The discounts are indeed substantial.

The Tianliwan Hyatt opened last year and is one of the rare one-bay-one-hotel types in Sanya. A hotel occupying its own bay area, featuring a private coastline, away from excessive noise, making it suitable for vacation.
The highlight of this promotion is the two-night ocean view room including breakfast and a dual-person dinner (choosing between Zao Po vinegar or coconut chicken) for 1388 RMB; no price increase throughout the summer. For non-summer, it provides administrative privileges (with happy hour every evening, equivalent to two more simple meals). This means for 1388 RMB, you get a total of two night stays, two breakfasts, two happy hours, and one dinner. Absolutely unbeatable. This hotel also has its own beach.
The dual-person dinner offers a choice between Zao Po vinegar and coconut chicken; I’ll post images as well. Hyatt’s dining has always been reliable, and both of these options are local specialties from Hainan, I personally prefer Zao Po vinegar a bit more.
The ocean view room at Tianliwan Hyatt is 43 square meters (excluding the balcony area). Every room has a balcony, a bathtub, and a sea view. You can see the ocean 100% of the time.
The hotel is also very family-friendly, featuring a “Happy Fun Camp” covering 817.5 square meters, perfect for bringing kids.
Another highlight of Tianliwan Hyatt is that it is the closest hotel to West Island Pier, making it convenient to visit West Island. West Island still retains its local charm, inhabited by several residents who operate food stalls and restaurants, engaging in tourism-related businesses. The West Island Fishing Village has been rated as one of the most beautiful fishing villages in the country.

2) Sanya Haitang Bay Grand Hyatt Luxury Ocean View Room for two nights including breakfast + Family package for one, 1988 RMB; Three nights including breakfast + Buffet dinner for two adults and two children, 2888 RMB; 105㎡ Ocean View Suite for two nights including breakfast + Guest privileges, 2488 RMB.

Haitang Bay Grand Hyatt has been recommended multiple times by me; it is a personal favorite in Sanya’s Haitang Bay area.
The hotel features large rooms (the smallest room size is 68 square meters) and this package allows for a free extra bed. The Grand Hyatt’s “Happy Fun Camp” is the largest in the Hainan area.
It’s perfect for family travel.
The “Happy Fun Camp” at Haitang Bay Grand Hyatt is something my child loves; they want to go in the morning and afternoon and are never free to leave. This gives parents much more peace of mind.
Outdoors, there is also a small water park specifically for kids, ensuring they can expend their energy thoroughly.
I recommend the three-night package, which includes a buffet dinner for two adults and two children. If I remember correctly, the buffet’s group buying price is around 258 per person. Moreover, the Grand Hyatt buffet is delicious since it is under the Hyatt brand.
If you choose the 2488 RMB package for two nights, you will get the 105㎡ ocean view suite with guest privileges, meaning breakfast and evening simple meals are included.
This type of room tends to be more expensive; usually priced above 1500 on the calendar.

The prices at Haitang Bay Grand Hyatt are becoming increasingly attractive.
3) Qingdao Hyatt for two nights without breakfast, 1298 RMB.
Valid until September 30, 2024; no price increase during non-summer weekdays and weekends. For summer weekdays, an additional 500 RMB per night applies; weekends have a surcharge of 800 RMB per night.
The key is that in May, June, and September, there are no price increases for both weekdays and weekends. It’s quite rare for seaside hotels in Qingdao to offer such pricing; these three months are also perfect for traveling to Qingdao.
The highlights of Qingdao Hyatt are quite distinct. Qingdao St. Regis claims to be the highest in Qingdao. Qingdao Hyatt asserts, “Oh, I have a beach.” The Ocean View Garden claims, “I have the best service among Qingdao hotels.” Qingdao Hyatt will respond, “Oh, but my beach is in the city center.”
Qingdao Hyatt is unique in that it opens directly onto the beach, a one-of-a-kind experience in Qingdao. The next image was taken from the public area of Qingdao Hyatt, with the beach and bathing area right at your feet.
Additionally, the dining experience is noteworthy; East Sea 88 is renowned for its Chinese cuisine within the Hyatt hotel chain, with tourists flocking to eat Qingdao prawns here. My phone screen was a bit dirty but trust me, Qingdao prawns are indeed huge. If I remember correctly, three large prawns pictured below cost slightly over 200, and with a food card, you can get discounts.
The rooms are nice too, with a standard room area of 42㎡, featuring a city view.
What left an impression on me was the mini-bar in the room, showcasing three iconic drinks in the Qingdao beverage scene (one positive, one negative, one mid-range). I just don’t know if the mini-bar is still like this at Qingdao Hyatt. I stayed there in 2021.

Valid until September 30, 2024; for Jiaxuan, there’s an additional charge of 200 RMB per night on Fridays and Saturdays, and 300 RMB from June 8 to 10; for the Selection, 300 RMB additional on Fridays and Saturdays, and 500 RMB from June 8 to 10.
Jingdezhen Hyatt Jiaxuan and Jingdezhen Hyatt Selection are located in the same area, positioned extremely well, right in the Tao Xichuan cultural and creative street area.
This is a landmark location in Jingdezhen. In terms of cultural tourism facilities, the Tao Xichuan area is top-notch, with numerous ceramic shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, bookstores, hotels, and so on, creating a mature commercial complex. Regular creative markets are also held on weekends in this area.
We have stayed at both; Jiaxuan offers slightly better value for money. It can be considered the budget-friendly alternative to the Tao Xichuan Hotel. Although the public areas for the two hotels are not interconnected, the quality is still commendable.
Although when comparing rooms, Jiaxuan is indeed a bit inferior to the Tao Xichuan Hotel, but considering its pricing, it is quite more affordable.
The 999 RMB for two nights has already sold out; I would recommend stocking up on the two-night package including breakfast + Cobalt Blue buffet dinner for two + tickets to the local art museum, at 1388 RMB.
The Cobalt Blue restaurant is within Hyatt Selection. The restaurant derives its name from a traditional blue pigment used in ceramic glazes, which is also the primary color tone for blue and white porcelain. Therefore, the restaurant features elements related to blue and white porcelain in its floor design, utensils, and tables. This restaurant is visually appealing.
The Cobalt Blue buffet for two isn’t inexpensive; group buying is already 498 for two. So the 1399 package offers remarkable value, and you’re likely to miss out if you wait too long.
The Hyatt Selection is relatively higher in quality and aesthetics. The hotel’s architecture was designed by the top British designer David Chipperfield.

Now, let’s talk about the pool. It features pure white tiles paired with shallow blue water; the simple blue and white tones are refreshingly appealing.
The standard room in the Selection has an area of 45㎡ and is visually appealing. All guest rooms come with floor-to-ceiling windows, and when the weather is sunny, sunlight streams directly into the rooms.

A good hotel, coupled with the attractive weekend getaway possibilities in Jingdezhen, is worth stocking up on.
5) Beijing Shoubei Zhaolong Hotel Scenic Room for one night including breakfast, 990 RMB.
Valid until September 29, 2024; no price increases throughout, not even in the summer.
The biggest advantage of this package is its summer pricing and the weekends in summer are also unaffected. Summer is the most expensive time in Beijing since parents prefer to take their kids to Beijing, leading to a significant hike in prices for most hotels within the city during that time.
Shoubei Zhaolong Hotel is an old establishment, having opened in 1985. However, it temporarily closed in 2018 for renovations, taking nearly two years to complete. Aside from the exterior, everything has been remodeled and upgraded.
The newly renovated Shoubei Zhaolong Hotel is chic and visually appealing.
It is also a lifestyle hotel, equipped with an art gallery, gym, and other personalized spaces. The entire first floor is almost a showcase for various artworks.
A significant highlight of the hotel is its restaurant. The Michelin One-Star, Black Pearl One-Diamond restaurant Ling Long is right inside the hotel. It’s surprising that such a delicious restaurant only holds one Michelin star.
Moreover, the standard rooms at Shoubei Zhaolong Hotel aren’t large, measuring around 27-30㎡, a common issue with older hotels that have been renovated.
