The downside of Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel is that it’s not directly near the beach. It may not be by the beach, but it’s only a 5-10 minute walk away across one road. This makes Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel quite affordable.
Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel’s charm lies in its aesthetics; it’s a pure white design that looks stunning in photos. The villa here is particularly beautiful, resembling a bit of Grecian architecture.
Additionally, Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel features one of only three underwater restaurants in Sanya.
The luxurious lake-view suite is a premium room type with an area of 80 square meters. I have seen this hotel, and this room type is very comfortable and quite family-friendly.

You’ve been waiting a long time; White Swan has finally arrived!!!
In Guangzhou, who hasn’t heard of White Swan?
Since its opening in 1983, White Swan has continuously been an iconic hotel in Guangzhou.
Moreover, in terms of dining, White Swan is also a showcase for Guangdong cuisine.
Yutang Spring Warm (Cantonese cuisine) and Hongtu Pavilion (dim sum) are Michelin one-star restaurants, while the flavor restaurant is featured in Michelin’s list. Guangzhou doesn’t have any black pearl three diamonds, but Yutang Spring Warm has a black pearl two diamonds.
The package includes a 300 yuan meal credit that allows you to pre-book at these three restaurants.
Especially in Yutang Spring Warm, it’s in my opinion the top Cantonese restaurant in mainland China. Hongtu Pavilion is a dim sum place I frequently visit, and frankly, everything aside from the price is perfect.
White Swan also has an excellent location!
It’s situated on Shamian Island along the Pearl River. Shamian was once an important trading port during the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, leaving over 150 Baroque, Gothic, neoclassic buildings, post offices, banks, churches, and cafes, all of which are fantastic for exploration.
White Swan rooms come fitted with maps, so staying there and following the map to explore is more than enough.
Let’s talk about the package. A standard room at White Swan is 30 square meters (non-summer can be upgraded to a luxury city view room, limited to 6 rooms per day).
White Swan underwent renovations from 2012 and reopened in 2015 after three years of extensive remodeling. From what I can see, White Swan’s rooms are quite nice.
I’ll show you some actual photos.
The two-night package (1999) includes paired dishes at Yutang Spring Warm. The paired dishes are two dishes (white marinated inkfish + black pepper grilled beef tongue), and if ordered separately, it’s 340 yuan.
Ultimately, this package’s value is undeniable; I’ll take 1 night (1099 with 300 dining credit) as an example. It’s way better than the regular rate, which is 1018 without breakfast or dining credits.
White Swan is consistently high-value and rarely has promotions.
If you’re heading to Guangzhou, White Swan is an excellent place to stock up.
8) Nanjing Yihe 4 hotel redemption (1 night with breakfast) for 799 yuan
Valid until August 31, 2024; a 200 yuan difference applies for Friday and Saturday nights, and a 500 yuan difference applies for legal holidays and their eves.
This option allows redemptions at Luoye Chateau · Yihe Mansion, Yihe Yangzi Hotel, Yihe Mustard Garden, and Yinyi Water Street, all located in Nanjing under the Yihe brand. We’ve stayed at Luoye Mansion, Yangzi Hotel, and Mustard Garden.
The hotel is located in the eastern part of the Yihe Road Mansion District in Gulou District, Nanjing, covering roughly 20,000 square meters.
However, the area only consists of 26 buildings and 33 rooms, with 22 of these buildings’ owners recorded in “The Great Dictionary of the Republic of China,” including influential figures like Xue Yue, Huang Renlin, and Liu Jiashu.
It can be said that Yihe Road is like half a history of the Republic of China.
The rooms embody a Republic of China style.
The Yangzi Hotel is Nanjing’s only European castle hotel, built in 1912, with only 7 rooms. It was a hotel from the beginning, and renowned figures like Soong Ching-ling and Zhang Xueliang have stayed here.
Think about it, only 7 rooms in a castle – how great is that?
The rooms here follow the Republic of China style, similar to those in Yihe Mansion.
