– January 30, 2025 (New Year’s Day): 6 days 5 nights Singapore – Malaysia Penang – Thailand Phuket (overnight) – sea cruise – Singapore.
Taking an inside family room as an example, if 4 adults stay, the average price per person is 4,997 yuan. If it’s 2 adults and 2 children, the average price per person is 3,514 yuan.
– February 4, 2025 (the seventh day of the New Year): 5 days 4 nights Singapore – Malaysia Penang – Thailand Phuket – sea cruise – Singapore.
Taking an inside family room as an example, if 4 adults stay, the average price per person is 3,541.5 yuan. If it’s 2 adults and 2 children, the average price per person is 2,489 yuan.
Very reasonable!
The ticket prices are all-inclusive (room, three meals a day, free performances, etc.). Charges for specialty restaurants, onboard Wi-Fi, and land excursions are not included (but independent travel is allowed).
Moreover, currently, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand are all visa-free; not only can a passport holder travel freely, but these countries also do not charge a visa fee, saving a considerable sum of money.
Additionally, Singapore docks at Marina Bay, Penang at the old town city center, and Phuket at Patong Beach, all of which are great for disembarking and exploring immediately.
In these places, there’s truly no need to participate in guided excursions arranged by the cruise; disembarking and exploring independently is completely stress-free.
The Spectrum of the Seas is a sister ship of Quantum of the Seas previously operated domestically, almost identical with 99% similarity.
Among the Royal Caribbean fleet, the best is the Quantum Class, followed by the Oasis Class, then the Quantum Series (Spectrum, Quantum, Anthem belong to this series), followed by the Freedom Class, Voyager Class, Radiance Class, and Dream Class.
The Quantum series has few vessels; I’ll list the Oasis and Quantum class ships. As soon as Royal Caribbean launched Quantum, all the ships were great.
Spectrum of the Seas has a tonnage nearly identical to Spectrum and Quantum, at 168,666 tons, and its maiden voyage was in 2015.
It offers 16 decks and has 2,090 cabins accommodating two people, with a standard capacity of 4,180 guests.
Inside cabins measure 15㎡.
Balcony cabins are 18㎡ and come with an additional balcony.
This route mainly targets domestic mother port cruises. Comparing prices and routes, one can easily identify which offers better value.
Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand enjoy year-round summer, and the cruise can truly showcase its maximum advantages, such as the water park on the deck, only during the summer.

The highlight of this package is that there is no price increase for weekends, Qingming, May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, and National Day. Of course, holiday inventory may be limited, so it’s advisable to reserve holiday inventory as soon as possible.
Moreover, if you book the Qingming holiday (April 4-6), there are 10 rooms upgraded to exclusive Joy rooms (executive rooms) available each day. These rooms are larger, have executive privileges, and the balcony offers peacock views in the garden.
Anandi’s executive services are quite reliable, with drinks, desserts, and hot meals available.
I have stayed at Anandi at least 5 times; it’s one of my preferred hotels. It’s part of LHW, which also includes properties like Capella Shanghai, J Hotel Shanghai, Seven Stars in Xiamen, The Murray in Hong Kong, PuLi Hotel in Shanghai, and Puxuan Hotel in Beijing… there isn’t a single poor hotel among them.
Anandi offers numerous activities.
Before your stay, a butler will contact you to confirm itinerary arrangements. After checking in, you can book activities at the hotel’s workshop, such as meditation, yoga, and singing bowl classes—all free of charge.
If you have enough time, you can schedule about 3-4 activities in a day. I particularly enjoy teaching deep sleep classes, while other friends might prefer yoga classes.
Another significant highlight is Anandi’s thermal spa, which has four entire floors.
This spa includes soaking areas with both indoor and outdoor hot springs, as well as thermal treatment areas and audiovisual halls, somewhat similar to Qu Shui Lan Ting.
Additionally, fresh fruit and coffee are available without restriction.
There’s also a children’s play area.
This spa isn’t cheap; regular group buying prices can exceed 300+ per person. You can consider other similar places for an idea of the prices.
This package includes accommodation, thermal spa, workshop classes, and a meal of Spanish cuisine.
The Spanish meal consists of paella, served at the spa restaurant, which already provides various free fruits, drinks, coffees, and cocktails, making it sufficient for two.
Now about the room.
This package offers the Joy Room, which is 45㎡. The room is equipped with elements like “energy stones,” “Himalayan salt lamps,” and “earth beds” to create a relatively tranquil sleeping environment.
Herbal sachets for bath use are provided in the room. Amenities include Natura Bissé, a high-end spa brand used in many upscale spas.
Yoga mats and workshop outfits are also placed in the room.
Guest services come with butler support to analyze the guest’s body type, providing different sweet soups for a good night’s sleep each evening based on individual needs.
Anandi traditionally isn’t cheap, generally around 1,644 yuan per night without any inclusions. This package at 1,488 yuan includes the room, breakfast, thermal spa, and main meal, offering very high value.

3) 2 nights in a classic double or large room at Shaoxing Lu Xun’s Former Residence Huajian Hotel, including breakfast + a floral experience, for 1,098 yuan (can be split).
Valid until June 30, 2024, not available during May Day (April 29-May 4) and Dragon Boat Festival (June 7-9), no price increase on weekends.
This Huajian Hotel is in an excellent location, not only in the ancient city of Shaoxing but also inside the Lu Xun former residence scenic area, right next to Baicao Garden and Lu Xun’s former home.
This is actually one of the advantages of Huajian Hotels, as almost all their locations are superb.
If you’re visiting Shaoxing, staying here is very convenient.
This particular Huajian Hotel is full of Chinese style and boasts excellent facilities, as it opened recently this year.
While most Huajian Hotels lack pools, this one has one, displaying top-notch hardware.
The basic room measures 28-30㎡. I haven’t stayed here yet, but judging by the pictures, it certainly ranks among the best rooms in numerous Huajian Hotels.
Moreover, the package price is quite affordable; weekend prices on the calendar are 889 yuan per night without breakfast, while the package averages less than 550 yuan per night including two breakfasts, making it a significant deal.

If you plan to visit Shaoxing, I suggest you stock up. The hotel has a great location, and only opening promo can offer such great prices.
4) Zhuhai Hengqin Yacheng Hotel: 1 night including breakfast + 1 night at Macau Yacheng / Macau Luhuan Sea & Sky for 1,299 yuan; 1 night at Zhuhai Hengqin Yacheng Hotel without breakfast + 2 nights at Macau Yacheng / Macau Luhuan Sea & Sky without breakfast for 1,699 yuan.

This package is perfect for a 1 night + 1 night stay in Zhuhai and Macau, or a 1 night + 2 nights option.
Flying to Zhuhai from Macau is actually a more cost-effective choice. I can compare flight prices from Hangzhou to Zhuhai and Hangzhou to Macau, and the difference is often quite significant.
Zhuhai Hengqin Yacheng Hotel is conveniently located next to the Hengqin port, only a 2-minute walk to 24-hour customs access, and below is a city rail station, which can take you to Zhuhai Jinwan Airport in 24 minutes, Zhuhai Station in 15 minutes, and Changlong in 7 minutes. It takes about 5 minutes by car to cross to Zhuhai’s port, where you can visit islands or head to Shenzen across the harbor.
Zhuhai Hengqin Yacheng Hotel opened this year and is relatively new. Basic room size is around 30㎡.
This one isn’t priced cheaply; it’s 565 yuan for a room without breakfast.
The highlight of this package is certainly in Macau where you have two hotel options—Macau Yacheng / Macau Luhuan Sea & Sky.
Macau Yacheng is on the Macau peninsula and close to Fisherman’s Wharf, with most attractions within that area.
The basic room here is 32㎡ in size.
Macau Yacheng isn’t cheap either, at 641 yuan per night without breakfast; any hotel that includes breakfast in Macau generally sees prices rise significantly.
Macau Luhuan Sea & Sky is a seafront resort located at the black sand beach on Luhuan Island.
This is more suited for relaxation, while if you prefer sightseeing, Macau Yacheng is more optimal. It is a resort adjacent to a golf course.
The calendar prices for both are also not cheap.

Packages for Macau are rare, and high value-type offers are even rarer. This package is genuinely affordable.
5) 2 nights in a deluxe room at Deqing New City Ancient Town Holiday Hotel (excluding breakfast) for 799 yuan.
Valid until June 30, 2024; weekends in April have no additional charges; for Fridays and Saturdays in May and June, an additional charge of 100 yuan per night applies; for Qingming (April 4-5) and Dragon Boat Festival (June 8-9), an extra charge of 200 yuan per night is applicable; and for May Day (May 1-3), an extra charge of 500 yuan per night applies.
The highlight here is that there’s no additional charge on weekends, which is quite unexpected for local staycation hotels.
Although the package does not include breakfast, the hotel is adjacent to Deqing New City Ancient Town, which is one of the seven ancient towns of Jiangnan. The other six are Nanxun, Zhouzhuang, Wuzhen, Xitang, Tongli, and Luzhi.
The local morning market is bustling with life, and New City Ancient Town is famous for its lamb dishes, making it perfect for a delicious bowl of lamb noodles in the morning!
