Beijing has always lacked good hotel prices, and the Sanlitun Tongying Center Intercontinental is great, well-located, and fairly priced; it’s definitely worth getting.

The location of Qiandao Lake Voco is superb, located on an island in Qiandao Lake, surrounded by water. The hotel allows for watching the stunning sunsets on Qiandao Lake.

The indoor areas of the hotel feature a parent-child paradise with LEGO toys. During winter, kids visiting Qiandao Lake won’t feel too cold while playing indoors.

The Qiandao Lake Crowne Plaza opened in 2016, and among the international brand hotels on Qiandao Lake, its opening year isn’t too long ago, and it’s now in its best usage period.
This hotel has a unique position, not in Qiandao Lake Town, but on the Xin’an River Dam in Jiande. Here, you encounter a completely different Qiandao Lake, which is quieter and you can see the Qiandao Lake Dam.
It’s right by the lake, very close to the Mao Bamboo Garden Pier, making it convenient for hiking Huangshan.
This area of Qiandao Lake is relatively concentrated with water activities.
The hotel’s outdoor garden infinity pool has excellent views of Qiandao Lake. Furthermore, various water sports like surfing are available for choice.
The top-tier terrace also offers unobstructed views of Qiandao Lake. Additionally, the hotel provides a range of child-friendly activities such as family bicycles, pet care, vegetable gardens, a small train, and an indoor children’s center.
Room areas range around 40㎡; I stayed there once and feel that among the many Crowne Plazas I’ve visited, it stands out as one of the better options.
The same link also has Qiandao Lake Intercontinental. We visited Qiandao Lake recently; there are numerous activities available, with comprehensive facilities.
There’s only one hotel on the whole Xianshan Peninsula. This means the entire peninsula belongs to the public spaces of Qiandao Lake Intercontinental. The hotel offers plenty of outdoor activities like cycling (bicycles and helmets provided), hiking to the Intercontinental Lighthouse, and more.
This property features outdoor hot springs with lake views and osmanthus trees. Imagine soaking in the hot springs in September while enjoying lake views and the osmanthus fragrance—it sounds very pleasant.
The sunset at Qiandao Lake Intercontinental is beautiful. The hotel has several spots to catch the sunset, with the lobby’s moon terrace being a classic viewpoint. Every time I walk into the lobby, I can’t help but stop there.
There are also numerous family entertainment options at the hotel, such as the small train circling the lake and around the hotel, and an 1800㎡ large children’s paradise.
Intercontinental opened in 2011, so it has been operating for some years, resulting in a conventional room layout that doesn’t stand out. However, it doesn’t feel dated; the wooden and stone materials have remained appealing over the years.
