High on looks and fun, no price increase for Labor Day and National Day! Stock up now!

We recommend hotels, emphasizing seeing is believing. When it comes to overseas hotels, one must be more cautious; if I haven’t seen it with my own eyes, I’m just as worried about falling into a trap. You can’t just rely on writing a little essay if you haven’t been there.

This resort first reached out to me during the big promotion on September 19 last year, and I kept putting it off until now. Finally, in March this year, I managed to squeeze out a day to fly to Seoul and gathered information about this resort. I’ll show you my flight times; it really was a day trip to Seoul. I stayed for a total of 25 hours and 50 minutes, all for this resort.

Next, I will write a whole article explaining why this product is worth it. I just experienced it myself and enjoyed it greatly. I have already repurchased this package to take the queen and kids during summer vacation. This resort is perfect for both kids and for taking stunning photos.

How to quickly understand Paradise City?
It is akin to the Sands, Galaxy, and MGM in Macau, providing a complete vacation complex with dining, shopping, entertainment, and leisure. Therefore, when prices are high in Macau, why not consider Seoul?

image8.png

Paradise City is just a 5-minute drive from Incheon International Airport, the transportation hub of Korea, and about 40 minutes to Seoul Station. There is a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Incheon Airport every 30 minutes, which is very convenient. I could even see planes taking off and landing from my room. However, the sound insulation at Paradise City is excellent; whether I was in my room or enjoying the public areas of the resort, I couldn’t hear any aircraft noise.

Highlights of Paradise City:

Cimer Water Park
This is the most fantastic pool, sauna, and spa I have ever experienced, without a doubt. The photo opportunities here are off the charts; make sure to allocate a significant portion of your time here.

The water landscape square in Cimer is designed to resemble Italy’s St. Mark’s Square, boasting vibrant colors.

image11.png

image12.png

image13.png

image14.png

The cave therapy area has an air of mystery, giving the feeling of being in Turkey. It’s an indoor pool accessible to everyone, vast with multiple cave sections, although I could only take limited photos.

image15.png

The Illusion Spa is dreamy, featuring three walls adorned with LED imagery, allowing you to be lost in either a starry sky or the ocean in an instant; every shot taken here looks like a masterpiece. It’s extremely popular on Instagram.

image16.png

image17.png

image18.png

image19.png

The Water Club highlights DJ engagement, creating a lively atmosphere reminiscent of a night club.

image20.png

image21.png

There are also water slides available for added fun.

image23.png

image24.png

image25.png

image26.png

image27.png

Furthermore, Cimer offers a plethora of sauna and spa areas such as the Amethyst Room, Salt Room, Cedar Room, Fire Room, and Ice Room. After all, this is Korea, where Korean-style sauna experiences are famous.

image28.png

image29.png

Plenty of locations for soaking in hot springs and steamy baths are also available.

You can find numerous relaxation lounges in the resort, allowing you to spend an entire day of fun at Cimer.

image30.png

I can responsibly say that Cimer surpasses any bathhouse I’ve been to previously, even the Qushui Lanting. Of course, tickets to Cimer are not cheap; you can check my captured price list. The AQUA spa ticket includes sauna and spa access, costing 60,000 won per adult in low season (around 320 yuan), and 70,000 won per adult in peak season (approximately 378 yuan). This time, all the packages being sold include sauna and spa access.

Wonderbox: A Dreamlike Nighttime Theme Park Miracle Box

image36.png

image37.png

Wonderbox is an indoor amusement park that truly stimulates my childlike wonder; I, an adult, had a blast here.

image38.png

image39.png

image40.png

image41.png

It features bumper cars, spinning cups, and a Ferris wheel…

image42.png

As well as aerial obstacles and giant slides suitable for kids’ play.

image43.png

image44.png

For beautiful pictures, there’s a carousel and a plethora of other photo-friendly attractions.

image45.png

For those seeking thrills, there’s a giant pendulum swing.

image46.png

image47.png

Wonderbox offers a day pass for adults at 28,000 won, and for children at 23,000 won. Some packages include 2 day passes to Wonderbox, which add up to around 300 yuan.

image48.png

image49.png

The entire resort is saturated with artistic ambiance.

image50.png

image51.png

The resort itself has an art gallery where exhibitions are occasionally held. However, it’s worth noting that exhibitions may not always be running; I happened to visit during a gap between two exhibitions, so I could only photograph the exterior.

image52.png

image53.png

There are an astounding number of artworks in the resort, reportedly over a thousand, including works by renowned artists. For instance, Yayoi Kusama’s polka-dotted pumpkin is a focal point wherever it appears.

image54.png

image55.png

image56.png

Damien Hirst’s Golden Legend.

image57.png

image58.png

image59.png

image60.png

Alessandro Mendini’s Paradise Prosthesis, featuring an enormous chair.

image61.png

image62.png

image63.png

Cavafy’s Together.

image64.png

Jaume Plensa’s Blue Anna B.

There are so many artworks that just walking a few steps will surely encounter one.

image65.png

image66.png

image67.png

image68.png

Paradise City is extremely photogenic.

image69.png

The entire Paradise City is a photographer’s paradise. For example, the “Paradis Walk” sensory path shown in the picture changes colors constantly, set to Beijing music, making it hard to resist stopping for photos.

image70.png

image71.png

image72.png

image73.png

image74.png

Chroma is a club for the youth, also extremely photogenic. I took countless photos at the entrance of Chroma; its night scene is even more captivating than during the day.

This destination caters to guests of all ages for vacations.
For shopping, there’s the Plaza Square and a large shopping mall.

image75.png

Inside, there are plenty of fun shops, including ones selling teddy bears, and options for renting small vehicles, mainly for kids to ride and for photos.

image76.png

image77.png

image78.png

Safari Park features activities like PS and bowling, along with a dedicated children’s zone called Kids Zone. I was unable to take photos at these areas due to crowds during my visit, so I’ve used the resort’s official images instead.

image79.png

Do you sense the similarity to Macau’s integrated resorts?
I’ve stayed at various comprehensive resorts in Macau, and if Paradise City were situated in Macau, I believe it would have significant advantages in entertainment.
The main attractions are Cimer and Wonderbox; they are truly unique experiences.

image80.png

image81.png

Paradise City boasts around 40 restaurants, offering all the Korean dishes you’d expect, including fried beer, tteokbokki, bibimbap, and Korean BBQ. The restaurants also boast aesthetically pleasing settings, enhancing the dining experience.
The Italian restaurant La Scala features a bright white theme.

The Chinese restaurant is called Yubao Xuan, specializing in high-end Cantonese cuisine.

image82.png

The Japanese restaurant Raku has a chef preparing sushi right in front of you.

image83.png

image84.png

image85.png

There’s also an all-day dining restaurant, On The Plate, serving buffet meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If your package includes breakfast, it will be served in this restaurant.

image86.png

image87.png

image88.png

image89.png

The bar RUBIK comes highly recommended, offering performances every day.

Now, let’s talk products.
The top recommendations are the following two packages, which include adult tickets for both Cimer and Wonderbox. I personally think visiting Paradise City without experiencing Cimer and Wonderbox is simply not an option. Each package also includes entrance tickets for the KIDS ZONE and for the PlayStation area. The KIDS ZONE is the hotel’s children’s playground, while the PlayStation area is designed for gaming.

image90.png
The pool is also a significant highlight of the hotel. The outdoor pool, facing the blue sky, feels particularly romantic; the indoor pool blends seamlessly with nature, offering stunning views of Yeongjong Island through panoramic windows.

1) 2 nights in a luxury room at Seoul Paradise City (excluding breakfast) + 2 adult tickets to Cimer + 2 adult tickets to Wonderbox, priced at 1933 yuan (after coupon 1783 yuan).
Valid until December 31, 2024. Weekend price increases apply, as well as during Korean holidays and certain summer dates; however, there’s no price increase during Labor Day and National Day (except weekends).

The luxury room is the standard room, measuring 45㎡. Below is an actual image; I stayed in the luxury room this time.

image93.png

This package does not include breakfast because the breakfast at Paradise City is quite pricey (65,000 won per person, approximately 350 RMB), and once breakfast is included, the price increases considerably. It’s a comprehensive vacation complex with a shopping mall and popular convenience store CU, open 24 hours, making it easy to try the latest trendy Korean snacks.

This package comes with 2 adult tickets to Cimer (costing 60,000 – 70,000 won each) and 2 adult tickets to Wonderbox (costing 28,000 won each); the total value of these tickets alone is close to 200,000 won, equivalent to around 1,000 RMB. If you’re bringing kids, you can add an additional Wonderbox child ticket at 23,000 won.
These tickets are sold at regular prices; I saw Koreans purchasing here at the same rates, so it’s quite a deal.

image94.png

image95.png

image96.png

Usually, the nightly rate for Paradise City without tickets or breakfast starts at 1245 yuan.

2) 1 night in a duplex suite at Paradise City Art Hotel (excluding breakfast) + 2 adult tickets to Cimer + 2 adult tickets to Wonderbox, priced at 1627 yuan (after coupon 1477 yuan).

image100.png

Valid until December 31, 2024. Weekend price increases apply, along with certain dates in summer; however, no increases are applicable for Labor Day and National Day (except weekends).

The Paradise City Art Hotel, another hotel in the Paradise City complex, is adults-only. I also checked it out; it features 58 rooms and boasts particularly high aesthetics. The hotel’s dedicated restaurant and bar are also stunning.

image101.png

The duplex suite is the standard room type, spread across two levels; the upper level is a living area, while the lower level is a bedroom.
If you’re considering just one night, this package includes both the Cimer and Wonderbox adult tickets.

The art hotel’s rates are generally quite high, typically around 2000+ yuan per night (excluding tickets and breakfast). This package offers plenty of added value while remaining cheaper than regular rates.

The two packages above are my top recommendations, but there are others as well.
3) 1 night in a luxury room at Seoul Paradise City (excluding breakfast), priced at 1016 yuan (after coupon 916 yuan).
Valid until December 31, 2024. Weekend price increases apply, as well as during Korean holidays and certain summer dates; however, no price increase for Labor Day and National Day (except weekends).
