Let me elaborate on these one by one.

The location of Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel is unbeatable. In the entirety of Yangzhou, no other hotel dares to challenge it on location.
I’ll supplement a map; Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel is connected directly to Shouxihu Scenic Area through a small door. Additionally, the renowned Quyuan, Yangzhou’s only two-diamond restaurant on the Black Pearl list, and its only one-diamond mountain restaurant are both inside the Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel. There are only two Black Pearl restaurants in Yangzhou, both occupying this hotel.
Building 18’s Guanfang Garden is a newly constructed building at Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel, built last year (2023) with design expertise from CCD in Hong Kong. They spent a significant amount just on design costs.
Much like the previous building 8, it appears more like a stylish hotel than a state guesthouse. Building 18 features a more vibrant and youthful design overall.
This package focuses on the elegant king/twin room, with basic room sizes ranging from 40-45 m², primarily in a modern minimalist style, incorporating some Chinese elements as accents—simply elegant.
The quality of the slippers and bathrobes is high-end, using Ferragamo products, and each room is equipped with a Dyson hairdryer.
Breakfast in Building 18 is separate.
The central kitchen of Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel works in conjunction with Quyuan; the staff are the same team (Yancheng Yiwei Restaurant Company). So regardless of whether you’re in building 8 or building 18, the breakfast will be equally splendid.
The famous Yangzhou dumplings are all included.
The 879 CNY nightly rate is already quite good; I’ve checked the calendar, and the peak price is 1288 CNY per night—quite a savings!
Moreover, at the opening, they sold rooms starting from 999 CNY per night; hence, a rate of 879 CNY per night is already less than the opening price—truly impressive!
2) Nanjing Greenland Intercontinental with 2 nights and breakfast, 1699 CNY (1499 CNY after coupons).
Valid until March 31, 2024, no price increase on weekends, but there is a price increase during the Spring Festival (details on the webpage).
Nanjing Zifeng Greenland Intercontinental is the tallest building in Nanjing City, a landmark seen from almost anywhere in the city.
The hotel’s location is excellent, right at the intersection of Metro Lines 1 and 4 at the Gulou station, making trips convenient. It’s only 1 metro stop away from Jiming Temple and Xuanwu Gate (Xuanwu Lake), with another stop to Xin Jie Kou.
You could say this is at the center of Nanjing.
After the coupon, it’s under 750 CNY per night, which is the lowest price seen recently for the Nanjing Intercontinental.
The basic room size is 48 m², and this hotel offers skyline views—every room provides excellent scenery.

3) Mogan Mountain Kaiyuan Senbo Wowawa World with 2 nights’ accommodation, breakfast + tickets for either the water park or fantasy island for two, plus access to Flora Garden and Pet Paradise, 1198 CNY (1078 CNY after coupons).

On average, the price is around 500 CNY per night with free tickets—an incredibly striking deal, especially for a Wowawa World room type.
Winter is the perfect time to stay here; apart from high cost-performance, it’s closest to places for eating and playing, and free from mosquito bites. In winter, you can visit the water park wearing just a bathrobe and remain indoors.
I have visited Mogan Mountain Senbo several times, always with kids—it’s quite enjoyable.
Mogan Mountain is three times the size of Hangzhou Senbo, with activities mainly at the amusement park like the water park, fantasy island, Flora Garden, and Pet Paradise.
The indoor and outdoor sections of the water park offer year-round access at a constant temperature, including a super large slide combination, a lazy river, wave pool, and interactive climbing wall—all suitable for all age groups.
Fantasy Island is a massive indoor children’s amusement park, featuring more than 20 attractions suitable for children as young as six months to adults. You can think of Fantasy Island as a more extensive version of a popular children’s play area.
Flora Garden maintains a constant atmosphere of birds and blooms, providing a tropical jungle feel.
Mogan Mountain Senbo also has an outdoor mining area with a large lawn and a super supernatural playground suitable for various outdoor projects.
Additionally, Mogan Mountain Senbo features a Pet Paradise with many interactive animal experiences.

Dongqian Lake Conrad is in a fantastic environment, just look at the pictures above. The internal design is impressive as well.

Nanyuan Hotel is Suzhou’s state guesthouse, originating from the Republic of China’s old residence, Lixi Pavilion, where Jiang Weiguo lived from age 11 to 20.
The hotel has a 320,000 m² Suzhou-style garden—it’s a garden villa-style guesthouse featuring bridges, flowing water, pavilions, and towers.
The hotel is also excellently located, adjacent to Canglang Pavilion and paired with Wangshi Garden, while the renowned Suzhou gardens, like the Humble Administrator’s Garden and Lion Grove Garden, are just a stone’s throw away. Walking to Pingjiang Road only takes about a kilometer. There’s a popular socializing street—Shiquan Street—at the entrance.

While it’s not very high, it’s centrally located, providing unobstructed views from its terrace.
Designed by the renowned architect I.M. Pei, I particularly favor the hotel’s first-floor traveler’s reading room, with a design inspired by the historical context of the Republic of China and Sun Yat-sen.
The towering shelves filled with books are all for personal reading.
I.M. Pei truly paid attention to the design of the luxurious selected hotel in Nanjing.
The basic room measures 46 m² and offers options for double or king beds. I’ve stayed here twice and really enjoyed it—rooms reflect a blend of modern and historical aesthetics.
The calendar pricing isn’t cheap for this hotel either, nearing 1500 CNY per night normally. Two nights with breakfast are priced at 1799 CNY after discount.
8) Club Med Mediterranean Neighboring Anji Resort, 2 nights with breakfast + a double archery experience + a double cycling experience, at 1399 CNY (1279 CNY after coupons).

I’ve visited this Club Med Mediterranean Neighboring Resort in Anji several times; its environment is delightful, surrounded by tea mountains, providing comfort for both body and mind.
Additionally, the resort hosts a variety of activities that will keep your kids entertained. CM resorts are exceptional at taking care of children while they have fun.
Each evening, there’s a show organized by the G.O.s, making it an enjoyable village experience.
The rooms are quite commendable, with the hotel opening in 2018, marking its best usage period. Basic rooms are 37 m². I can confidently say the Anji rooms belong among the better ones I have experienced in Club Med and Club Med Joyview.

I visited the Bund Elegant Hotel once; it underwent renovations in 2020, earning high aesthetic standards in public spaces. Bars and terraces among common areas provide unobstructed views of the Bund’s trio of buildings.
